I've always loved the "Shabby Chic" aesthetic and being the city girl that I am I sometimes find it hard to incorporate this lovely country-esque look into cookie cutter burbs bungalows. I love all of the rustic and worn qualities evident in the finishes of Shabby Chic, the colour themes are always so neutral, airy and light ( my fav!) with hints of blue, green, pink or yellow pastels. I try my best to pick up old antique pieces from thrift stores and flea markets and give them a Shabby touch, but it can be hard to find unique country inspired pieces in a city setting, so until I do, I think I'll just dream about all the pretty pictures below.
