Kristin Laura Kreuk was born 30 December, 1982 a Canadian actor and producer, known for her role as Lana Lang in the American television series Smallville. She was also a regular cast member on the Canadian teen drama Edgemont and has starred in movies like Eurotrip and Street Fighter, The Legend of Chun-Li. Kreuk was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her father, Peter Kreuk, is of Dutch descent, her mother, Deanna Che, of Chinese descent, but born in Indonesia, her grandmother was born in Jamaica of Chinese descent. Both parents are landscape architects.
Together with Smallville co-star Allison Mack is Kreuk as the executive producer of a short film with Mark Hildreth called Blink. Kreuk will star as Heather in the 2011 film Ecstasy based on Irvine Welsh's novel.Kreuk lives in her hometown of Vancouver with her French bulldog Dublin.
